Netherby Suspension Bridge over the Border Esk in Cumbria was reconstructed with new suspension cables, re-using the old hangers where possible. It carried pedestrian traffic across the river and is on the site of Sir Walter Scott’s poem – Lochinvar. The bridge is Grade ll listed.
